About us
New Brunswick Youth Voice Committee
The New Brunswick Youth Voice Committee has been created by the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate in partnership with the Interdepartmental Working Group on Children and Youth.
The purpose of the Committee is to involve youth in their community by their participation in activities for the prevention of harm on children and youth. The Youth Voice Committee is a leadership program for New Brunswicker youth.
As a member of the Youth Voice Committee, you will be the voice of New Brunswick youth, consult with them, share your perspectives and views, actively participate in the promotion of the inclusion of young people in the decision-making process, and help to influence decision-making.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about your rights, get a better understanding of the importance of youth engagement, and make a significant contribution to your community.
This is also an opportunity to learn about your rights, to be heard and to stand up as a young person in order to ensure that the rights of all children in New Brunswick are protected.
